	Interactive Literature.  We developed the concept of Interactive Literature Software because we wanted a unique method that would get students quickly involved with classic works of literature.  As good readers we all know that much of our understanding of literature comes through an unconscious questioning of what we have read.  Young readers need help developing this skill, and our software does just that.  Our intuitive questions cause the student to think and reread portions of the text to come up with a reasonable answer for the question.  If students do this enough with our computer assisting programs, they will eventually fall into the habit of doing this on their own.     The format of our programs (questions and answers) makes them ideal for either study or testing purposes.  Unlike regular paper tests, our programs require an answer for each question before another question is given.  If a student answers incorrectly, the correct answer is revealed.  Entire test is scored on screen and allows for a print out for teacher and student (a report card).  Questions and answers can be printed out by teachers for classroom planning.     In the computer lab they can be great devices for cooperative learning, by grouping students around a machine to incite decision making.  They can also be used in a controlled environment as a test of reading knowledge -- individually or in groups.  Our interactive literature programs also make great tools when used in Special Education, home schooling and ESL programs.
